Helping My Friend With… Anxiety & Other Life Challenges
Led by Peter Ellis
Sessions led by Peter Ellis to help both families and those in leadership navigate this ever-changing space. Peter is an experienced counsellor and schools trainer and educator with InWit Consulting. He brings a Christian perspective into the toolbox, helping us to address the issues and look after ourselves and our families.
Sessions are focused on anxiety, stress, vicarious trauma, and self-care in a clinical supervision context, with practical mental health tips for teachers, pastors, leaders, pastoral care workers, and parents and families of young people.
Session 1 // Late May: Anxiety and other life issues — critical interactions
Session 2 // Mid June: Anxiety and other life challenges — impact on kids and families
Soul Care Collective – Freedom Writing
Led by Sue Vogt | Schaedel House Basement
Soul Care Collective is a series of sessions and activities that nurture the souls of those who give to others and need to have their own cup topped up. We begin with Freedom Writing — journalling sessions exploring ways to express our feelings and inner creative self.
Sue Vogt will be guiding the sessions at Schaedel House Basement, with two sessions available each week during June and into Term 3. Starting Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th June.
Wednesday Morning Group // 9:30am – 11:30am
Thursday Evening Group // 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Sharing the God Story
Led by Craig Heidenreich | Hybrid — In Person & Online via Zoom
Ever felt lost for words when it comes to sharing the story of God’s love with others? Craig Heidenreich (LCA Mission Facilitator) will be de-mystifying ways to connect with random people for the sake of the Gospel across five short sessions, with options for online or face to face participation.
