Galatians Part 6
In the final session, Pastor Robert focuses on practical expressions of gospel living. Paul urges believers to restore those caught in sin gently and to carry one another’s burdens. Pastor Robert explains that this reflects the heart of Christ. The community of faith is not a place of comparison or pride but of mutual care. At the same time, each person is responsible before God for their own life and actions.
He highlights the principle of sowing and reaping. What we invest in shapes what grows in us. Sowing to the flesh leads to decay, while sowing to the Spirit leads to eternal life. Pastor Robert encourages perseverance in doing good, even when results are not immediate. The call is to remain faithful, trusting that God sees and will bring fruit in due season.
The letter closes with Paul’s emphasis on the cross. Pastor Robert notes that Paul boasts only in the cross of Christ. External marks such as circumcision mean nothing compared to the new creation. What counts is belonging to Christ and living as people transformed by grace. Pastor Robert leaves the congregation with the reassurance that peace and mercy rest on those who walk in this gospel truth, anchored always in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
